Partners on the Go

Comunicad supports Ford Motor Company Fund and the New York based Hispanic Federation hunger relief initiative, Partners on the Go.

  • This unique collaboration consists of food donations, a grassroots awareness campaign, and a series of food drives to help address the issue of food insecurity in the community.
  • Ford also donated a Ford Transit Connect Van in order to provide the Federation greater mobility and support for its member agencies.

In the current economic climate, food pantries are more and more challenged in meeting the current food demand based on traditional food collection and distribution channels. With this in mind, the Partners on the Go Ford Transit Connect Van will travel to different locations around New York to collect food for the Hispanic Federation member agencies who manage food pantries.

Comunicad helped develop the program by identifying a common priority issue for both client and partner and worked closely with Hispanic Federation to establish the program's milestones. Comunicad also facilitated the development and execution of the program's messaging and bilingual media outreach strategy.
