Rose Vazquez

Client Services Supervisor

As Client Services Supervisor at Comunicad, Rose directs and provides oversight of programmatic areas including contract negotiations, sponsorship, community partnerships, and events management to increase brand awareness.

What would you say is one of your finest moments, something you're very proud of?
My decision to leave Puerto Rico to become a military wife. At that time, I didn’t know how difficult it would be to be apart from my family, but I have been able to manage this well. This has helped me become a more independent and stronger person. I moved to the U.S. with little knowledge of English, but that didn't stop me from reaching my goals. I'm very proud of where I am now, and what I have accomplished.

What has been one of your most embarrassing moments in this business?
AV malfunction at a very important event.

What do you like most about working at Comunicad?
The work I do; having the opportunity to be part of great initiatives that help our communities positively; being able to witness the impact of these initiatives and know that I am a part of it. Additionally, having the opportunity to meet so many influential people with the same vision of helping our communities.

If you had to live on a deserted island, besides your family, what would you miss most? Which skills would you use to get off the island?

Besides my two little “angels”, my phone, and good food. While enjoying the beach and quiet time, I will assess if ships or airplanes come near the island. Then, based on that, I will plan my rescue, but not immediately.

Name two of your top pet peeves?

1. Drivers who constantly change from one lane to another without using a turn signal.

2. Finding dirty clothes on the floor next to the laundry basket.

What do you like to do during your free time?
I love traveling, watching TV, and baking sweets.
