Leslie specializes in the development of strategic communications, corporate responsibility investments, branding, social media integration and public affairs. With more than 20 years of experience in public relations and development, she brings to Comunicad significant federal grant writing experience and has coordinated the Salvation Army activation for a key Comunicad client as part of the disaster relief response in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. Leslie built strong corporate and government partnerships that have been well-received by the private sector and resulted in million-dollar donations for the national NGO. Leslie is a programmatic powerhouse implementing initiatives such as “Houses to Home” distributing over $25 million on the refurbishing of more than 30,000 homes lost to hurricane Maria and the subsequent earthquakes that impacted the island. During the past years, she has led a volunteer-based campaign distributing over a million safety kits as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Leslie has formed trusted media relationships in TV and radio, celebrities, and sports figures which facilitates awareness building for community programs.
