Shalimar is Comunicad’s Brand Warrior leading domestic and international corporate responsibility initiatives and public relations campaigns for corporate clients. She is responsible for ensuring quality and implementation of unified brand experiences, cross-cultural communications marketing, and social impact programs that foster market penetration. She strategically manages partnerships, external and internal teams, content creation, and negotiations.
Prior to joining Comunicad, she had various roles in communications, fundraising, and event management with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, U.S. Department of Treasury, and U.S. House of Representatives. Shalimar holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications and a Graduate Marketing Certificate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
